Kaitlyn J. Michko joined Savo, Schalk, Corsini, Warner, Gillespie, O’Grodnick & Fisher, P.A. as an Associate in 2019 and is a member of the New Jersey State Bar. Ms. Michko primarily concentrates her practice in civil litigation in special civil part and law division suits. In addition, she represents municipalities and local government matters including land use matters, tax appeals, public suits, and the Somerset County Board of Social Services.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Michko served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Kimarie Rahill, P.J.F.P., Vicinage XIII, Family Division. During her clerkship, Ms. Michko drafted detailed judicial opinions concerning post-judgment, discovery and evidentiary motions, written decisions for Children in Court trials, and opinions in response to Orders to Show Cause. In addition, Ms. Michko served as a court-appointed mediator for various Family Court cases primarily comprising of self-represented litigants.

Ms. Michko earned her Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, New Jersey. During law school, Ms. Michko worked at a prominent Morris County law firm on matters involving municipal and local government clients. Ms. Michko served as a student attorney in Seton Hall Law’s Civil Litigation Clinic representing clients in foreclosure matters and served as a staff editor on the Seton Hall Law Circuit Review journal. Ms. Michko also completed internships with the Honorable Walter F. Timpone, Associate Justice of the New Jersey Supreme Court and the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, Division of Law. Ms. Michko earned her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
